A conversation starter

“Please remember that I love gardening, and call me back in two minutes.”

Your microphone stays off until a call starts.

AI, not a person or emergency service. No care records. Sarah keeps what you tell her, linked to this browser, for 30 days so she can remember you and call you back (“Forget me” deletes it straight away); OpenAI processes your audio under its policies. Privacy & limits.

01 / The idea behind Kinto

More room for
the human side.

Conversation on one side. Care tools on the other. Two different experiences, built around the everyday details that make us who we are.

For a first hello

A conversation,
not another screen.

Try speaking with Sarah about the little things: a favourite recipe, a garden, or what made you smile today.

The details,
in one place.

A signed-in workspace for resident profiles, observations, tasks, and handovers. Separate from this public voice demo.

Care team sign in
With perspective

A helping tool.
Not a replacement.

AI can take part in a conversation. It cannot replace family, friendship, or the judgement of a qualified care professional.

Know the demo’s limits

02 / Your first conversation

Start simple.
See where it goes.

No script to follow. Just a microphone, a little curiosity, and something you feel like talking about.

  1. 01

    Make yourself comfortable.

Find a quiet spot and open the demo above. You’ll need a microphone and an internet connection.

  2. 02

    You choose when to begin.

Read the consent notice, start the demo, and allow microphone access when your browser asks.

  3. 03

    Say hello to Sarah.

Speak naturally and listen to the AI reply. Keep it light, leave out sensitive details, and end the session when you’re done.

A little inspiration

Not sure where to start?

“What could I grow in a small garden?”

“Let’s talk about a favourite meal.”

03 / A clear understanding

A warm welcome.
Clear boundaries.

Trying something new should start with knowing what it is — and what it isn’t.

01

This is the real Sarah, with limits.

Sarah is an AI, not a person. She can remember you and call you back on this browser, with calls of up to three minutes. She does not access care records or notify carers.

02

Your microphone connects to OpenAI.

Audio goes directly to OpenAI for processing. So Sarah can remember you, Kinto keeps your conversations with her, linked to this browser, and deletes them 30 days after your first conversation; choose “Forget me” to delete them straight away. OpenAI’s policies also apply. Avoid sharing sensitive information.

03

Real care stays with real people.

AI can get things wrong. This is not medical advice or an emergency service. For urgent help, contact a person or your local emergency services.

04 / A few good questions

A little more
before you try.

Back to Sarah
Who is Sarah?

Sarah is Kinto’s AI voice companion, not a person. This public demo is a chance to try a short, everyday conversation. Sarah can make mistakes, and her responses should not be treated as professional advice.

What do I need to try the demo?

Use a supported browser, an internet connection, and a microphone. Read the consent information in the demo, then allow microphone access when your browser asks. A quiet space or headphones can help you hear the conversation clearly.

What happens to my conversation?

The voice connection sends your microphone audio directly to OpenAI for processing. So that Sarah can remember you and call you back, Kinto saves your conversations and what Sarah learns about you, linked to this browser, and deletes them 30 days after your first conversation. Choose “Forget me” to delete them straight away. OpenAI’s own retention policies also apply. Please avoid health or other sensitive information.

Is this the full Kinto assistant?

No. You get the same Sarah as the Kinto app, so she can remember what you tell her and ring you back while this page is open, but it is separate from the signed-in care workspace. It does not access resident records, create care notes, or contact a care team on your behalf.

Can Sarah help in an emergency?

No. Sarah is not a medical or emergency service and does not monitor your safety. For medical advice, speak with a qualified professional. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.
